On behalf of our Board of Directors and Staff, we are very pleased to share some exciting news with you today.
Community Futures Boundary is delighted to announce that Rebecca Richards will be joining our team as General Manager in January 2026.
Rebecca brings significant experience as the Director of Operations and shared Executive Director role at the Lower Columbia Initiatives Corporation (LCIC), as well as experience running her own economic development consulting business. She has also worked with many partners across the region, including Community Futures Central Kootenay, the Castlegar and District Chamber of Commerce, and the Kootenay Food Council.
Her skills and experience strongly align with CFB’s strategic priorities and position her well to support our continued growth and community impact. We are thrilled to have someone with her leadership experience, deep background in economic development, strong financial and operational management capabilities, and clear alignment with the mission and values of Community Futures Boundary.
We look forward to making introductions in the new year to those she has yet to meet in our region.
