Grand Forks, B.C. – The Board of Community Futures Boundary would like to announce the retirement of long time General Manager Wendy McCulloch, effective today.
“Wendy has been a tireless champion for our organization and for the Boundary Region as a whole” says Board Chair, Alan Peterson, “and while we are sad to see her go, we are very appreciative of all her hard work”.
Community Futures Boundary celebrated its 27th year of operation in 2019 and provides services to entrepreneurs including business financing, business plan consultation, business planning and business start-up assistance. This location also offers the WORK BC Employment program and community development programming.
At the same time, the Board Is happy to announce that Jennifer Wetmore, resident of Grand Forks, and current Manager of Community Economic Development, will take over as General Manager. “Jennifer knows the organization, staff and community, and is well positioned to take on this role” says Peterson.
