We are in need of a Graphics Designer for a full service sign shop in Grand Forks, BC
Our shop has a wide format print and cut Mimaki printer, 65 inch laminator, wide format Summa cutter, a 100 watt laser, 4 ft by 8 ft CNC router, CNC plasma cutter and a myriad of other production tools. Experience on some or all of these would be an asset but is not necessary. Training will be provided on relevant equipment as needed.
A moving allowance will be offered to the successful applicant.
Specific Skills Required:
- You will have a recognized certificate in Graphics Design or equivalent experience.
- You will be expected to greet customers, get relevant info about their needs, as well as design and proof these projects.
- You will be expected to discuss customers advertising needs and in turn produce design work and proofs.
- You will be highly organized and able keep your work archived within our file structure.
- You will be able to do a variety of desk-top publishing as required.
Terms of Employment:
This is a full time permanent position. During the COVID gong show hours can be somewhat flexible with a portion in the shop and a portion work-at-home.
Salary:
Wage is negotiable depending on experience. There will be an employee evaluation at 3 months with an increase in salary if warranted. We also offer an incentive profit sharing bonus paid yearly.
