Lori commenced employment with Community Futures Boundary in 2009, and brings over 18 years of expertise in the accounting profession.  In her role as Financial Administrator, Lori manages multiple government funded contracts and performs all accounting and payroll functions for the organization.  She has completed three years of the Certified General Accountant Program.

Business Analyst/Loans Manager/Micro Loan Coordinator

Since June 2000, Susan has been the Business Analyst and Loans Manager for Community Futures Boundary. This position gave her the opportunity to combine her banking and entrepreneurial skills and provide assistance to Boundary Entrepreneurs with the start-up, expansion and/or maintenance of their businesses. She has owned and operated 5 different businesses. Susan is certified by APEC-IBIZ as a Small Business Counsellor and by Pan West as a Business Analyst. In 2012 she completed a Commercial Lending course through Dalhousie University. Susan has lived in the area for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to be able to work with Boundary businesses to help find solutions to their business needs.

Outreach Case Manager

Adrianna joined Community Futures Boundary in February 2016 as a Resource Worker and Administrative Assistant. With over 26 years of customer service experience and a career history encompassing a wide variety of fields, she considers the opportunity to work with the public to be the most rewarding and exciting aspect of her role with Community Futures. She is an active volunteer in the local school district, a tireless advocate for those in need of support, and a believer in perpetual learning.

Case Manager

Andrea is a Case Manager and has worked with numerous programs in her 15 years with Community Futures, including the Job Wave Program, Ministry of Income Assistance - Road Ahead Program, Self Employment Programs, Wage Subsidies, Job Creation Partnerships, Opportunities Fund Programs, and Employment Insurance programs, like negotiated training supports. She also facilitates various Employment workshops and the Boundary Interagency Group Meetings.  She has held a Career Facilitator Certificate since 2008 and is a Certified Career Development Practitioner through the Career Management Association of B.C. since 2009.

Employment Services Team Leader

Dylan has been working with Community Futures Boundary since 2008. During that period, Dylan has worked as a Youth Coordinator, Resource Worker, Essential Skills Co-ordinator, and Case Manager. His knowledge and involvement with the WorkBC Program has been invaluable for his current role as Employment Services Team Leader. Dylan currently holds a Career Development Practitioner Certificate to complement a BA Degree in Youth Work and a Diploma in Outdoor Recreational Leadership. Dylan has also completed courses in Customized Employment and Job Development. These enable him to work more efficiently with employers who are seeking to hire new employees. Dylan´s innovative, inquisitive, and problem solving style continues to seek out creative solutions to our ever changing client needs.

Case Manager / Self Employment Program Case Manager

Caroline began her career with Community Futures in 2004 and has worked as a Case Manager in Employment Services for the past seven years.   She is a certified Career Facilitator and Career Development Practitioner.  Caroline spent seventeen years with the Province of British Columbia in a number of ministries prior to relocating to Grand Forks in 2004.

Manager of Community Economic Development

Sandy joined the Community Futures team in 1999 as a Wage Subsidy Coordinator.  Since that time, she has filled a variety of roles in the organization including; Employment Counsellor, Training Coordinator, Project Manager, Facilitator and Assistant Manager.  This varied background has provided her with an in-depth understanding of programs and services.   She is instrumental in securing and renewing contracts for the organization.  Sandy actively participates in several community-based committees and economic development projects.

Lena Holmes
Case Manager

Lena has been working with Community Futures since 2014. First she started as an Administrative Assistant and Resource Worker, then in early 2017 she stepped into her role as a Case Manager. Her passion for working with people is what has made her successful in this role. She currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care and has over 10 years of experience working/volunteering in the Human Services field.

Resource Centre Advisor/Customized Employment Specialist

Valerie joined Community Futures Boundary in November 2014 and currently works as a Resource Centre Advisor & Customized Employment Specialist. She has over 25 years’ Customer Service experience providing professional, courteous and friendly assistance to clients. Her passion is working with people who have diverse barriers such as Mental Health, Addictions and Persons with Disabilities as well as being a firm believer in ongoing learning. Valerie is Certified in Job Development, Customized Employment Level 1 & Level 2, Understanding Addictions, Mental Health First Aid, ASIST, Solution-Focused Strategies and trained as a Job Coach.

General Manager

Jennifer rejoined Community Futures Boundary in May of 2017 as Manager of Community Economic Development after a six year hiatus.  She brings over 25 years of professional experience in community economic development, project and people management, training development, and sales and marketing experience.  Jennifer holds a BA from UBC, a marketing management diploma from BCIT, and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Workplace Innovation at Royal Roads University.  She lives in Grand Forks with her husband and two children.
