Ski Hill Administrator/Accounting Clerk

The administrator oversees the business aspects of hill operation, including but not limited to:

  • cash control & bookkeeping: collect and deposit all hill revenue; bill payments; payroll and government remittances; keeping of bookkeping records in accordance with standard accounting principles; providing statements of activities on a regular basis
  • lift/pass sales: oversee sales and distribution of various types of lift passes, including  season passes, day tickets, multi-day tickets, comp tickets, and private hill rentals; administration of the Reciprocal Exchange Program
  • corporate record keeping and communications

Specific Skills Required: 
  • post-secondary bookeeping certification is a minimum requirement
  • proficiency in applying for and reporting on various grants
  • honesty, integrity, and reliability
  • demonstrated proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software
  • demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word
  • strong organizational skills
  • strong verbal/written communication skills
  • familiarity with reporting and remittance procedures related to payroll and various government agencies
Terms of Employment: 
Seasonal: October-April 30 weeks @ 20 hours per week; May-Sept 22 weeks @ 2 hours per week

Previous experience in bookkeeping, sales, administration, and grant writing
