• Key position is to support all aspects of the Sales of lot vehicle and RV inventory.
• You are responsible to ensure that every vehicle is serviced, mechanically ready for customer purchase.
• Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools provided
• Ensure that common courtesy is shown toward all customers you encounter
• While in the vicinity of the Service Desk or the dealership showroom, act as a secondary customer greeter to customers that      have not yet been acknowledged
• Keep up to date with all technical publications, to assist in our operations
• Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe and honorable vehicle service is delivered as promised the first time
• Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales
• Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities ensuring that the vehicle is being maintained to the local area and             manufacturer recommendations
• Ensure the customers vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrived
• Participate in any manufacturer, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to you
• Complete all paperwork completely and correctly
• Ensure all required shop forms are attached to the customer and shop copies
• Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service(s) to customers.
• Work with Service Advisor to research and prepare estimates for the customer.
• Performs a consultative vehicle re-delivery with the customer when work is completed. Prior to the re-delivery, ensures the  vehicle is clean and that all items identified for service/repair have been carried out appropriately and on schedule.
• Meeting and exceeding services, parts and accessory sales targets; to be set quarterly
• Maintaining a 1% or less average of customer returns due to improper repairs.
• Ensures vehicle warranty repairs by approving adjustments within the standard warranty periods.
• Coordinates with the General Manager and communicates with customers and advisors regarding repair work.
• Assist the Service Advisor with Stock ordering and ensuring we have tools and supplies for the shop operation.

• Keep all work areas clean and tidy and that present our dealership professional and organized manner. Daily Clean up is   required.
• Adhere to all the safety standards and ensures all areas of the shop are safe and each employee and customer is kept safe.
• Be open and flexible to assist and help in any area of the dealership as the General Manager sees fit and requests with   reasonable training and operation.
• Annual Certifications – WHIMIS, etc.
• Knowledge of Computer – Email and Browsers
• Knowledge Shop Key Basic Knowledge
• General Cleanliness in the Dealership
• Lock up and key management

Monday to Friday 7:30 – 4pm – including 30 minutes for lunch
All employees are expected to be on time and presentable for each shift, including clean clothes.

• Red Seal Mechanic Certificate is required.
• Has a detailed understanding of automotive mechanics.
• Flexible and open to change; takes on special tasks as needed.
• Must be results oriented and accountable.
• Proven ability to be a problem solver and critical thinker.
• Class 5 British Columbian driver’s license.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must be punctual, reliable and independent.
• Team player, quick thinker, and able to multi-task.
